out of hoursOut of Hours

Arrangement for services in the “out of hours” period is provided with an approvedcontractor. Dial 111 to speak with NHS 111 out of hours. They will triage the call and may make arrangements for you to see an out of hours GP if necessary.

The Practice also now offers some late evening and Saturday morning appointments. These are for routine appointments only and primarily for patientswho find it difficult to attend the surgery during normal working hours.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

NHS 111

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
